VH-BHV Rebuild

July – September 2017

15th July 2017 marked the date that Rhyan clocked up the magical 2200 hours on our beloved VH-BHV!
What does this mean?  Well, it basically means that every moving part plus loads more are removed from the aircraft and either overhauled or replaced with new parts. This whole process will take about 2 months from start to finish! The disassemble started literally the afternoon she tipped the 2200 hours!
To ensure some parts are never used again, Robinson require the “data” plate’s from certain parts to be removed and sent back to their factory. Removal means cutting the parts up for scrap metal and sending only the piece with the plate back.
Early September 2017 VH-BHV was back flying.
